ADFC: Marcos to face Shamil in the final

Round 2 of the Abu Dhabi Fighting Championship left a pound for pound fight for all MMA fans in the UAE. In the heavyweight division, Marcos “Santa Cruz” Oliveira won against UK’s Neil "the Old Skool" Wain, while Russian heavyweight champion Shamil Abdurahimov conquered the African Assassin Thierry Soukoudjou.

Marcos Oliveira will step in the cage against Russian heavyweight champion Shamil Abdurahimov in the final round of the event which is scheduled to be held in March 2011.
The cynosure of the night was undoubtedly the success of both Ali Ahli and Hassan Al Rumaithi who flew the flag for the UAE after both won their bouts against Luciano Ferreira and Paulo Lamberto respectively.
